One of the goals of Retabit is to integrate data from multiple domains and scales, in order to facilitate a holistic understanding of the building retrofitting. The work carried out the last weeks with regard data integration has been presented in TIMEPAC-21 workshop whose title topic is "Dynamic EPC as enabler of Smart Energy Services – Energy Efficiency, Integration of RES in Buildings and Demand Response". 

The title of the presentation given by Anna Noguer and Álvaro Sicilia was "Integrating EPC data with cadastre to foster residential building retrofitting programmes in the implementation of SECAPs".

It was presented the integration of more than 900,000 records of energy performance certificates and the building from the cadastre sources. Both sources have data in common such as floor area, construction year, city names..., the main inconsistencies have been identified.  For example, 10% of the records have inconsistent floor areas between EPCs and Cadastre. The inconsistencies in the year of construction goes up to 12% of the records.

These kind of inconsistencies checking process can help to increase the quality of the EPCs.
